Casting call for new TV series ‘The Resident’

0

The new major network television series pilot “The Resident” is now hiring actors, extras, stand-ins, and crew members. Shooting on the pilot will get underway on March 30, 2017 in the Atlanta, GA area.

The Resident centers on Devon Pravesh, an idealistic young doctor who begins his first day under the supervision of a tough, brilliant senior resident, Conrad Hawkins who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern day medicine. Lives may be saved or lost, but expectations will always be shattered. Devon is a first-year resident at Kings County Hospital. Top of his class at medical school, the type to follow rules, driven and passionate when it comes to medicine, Devon is a hard-working perfectionist from a working-class background. Hawkins is an unpredictable bad boy who happens to be a brilliant doctor.

Australian Film Institute AFI Award winning director Phillip Noyce is directing the project from an original teleplay written by Amy Holden Jones, Hayley Schore, and Roshan Sethi.
