Lifetime Television casting extras in Charleston, SC for ‘Army Wives’ season 5

Lifetime Television has renewed its hit scripted series Army Wives for it’s fifth season to premiere in 2011. The casting department is looking for paid extras in the Charleston, SC area.

The most successful series in Lifetime’s 26-year history, Army Wives’ fourth season averaged 3.2 million total viewers this year. Its season four finale on August 22 was the program’s most watched episode of the year across all demographics, including Total Viewers, Adults 25-54, Women 18-49, Women 25-54, Women 18+ and Adults 18-49.

Shooting takes place in various locations such as the Charleston Air Force Base, the old Navy base, in the City of North Charleston, where they built a fake town for the series, and a sound stage for the show that is located in the Oakridge Shopping Center off Dorchester Road, in the City Of North Charleston.

Army Wives is produced by ABC Studios for Lifetime Television.

Filming for season 5 of Army Wives starts in early in early December, 2010.

All types, ages (18+), and ethnicities may register to work as extras, however the following groups are particularly being sought to appear during the upcoming season:

• Men and women, 18 – 40 yrs, all ethnicities, good physical condition to appear as Army personnel.

• Men and women, 18 – 65 yrs, all ethnicities, who are or could appear to be of Middle Eastern descent.

• Men and women, 55 – 85 yrs, all ethnicities, good physical condition.
