I am personally assisting in registering talent for the Netflix television drama series “Mindhunter”, which had been previously cast by Mosser Casting. The industry leading casting team of Bill Marinella and Andrea Hume have officially taken over casting duties, and are now accepting registration for talent available to work in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Shooting will continue through December, 2016. Both adults and minors are welcome to register. The series also needs people with 1970’s and earlier vehicles. To be considered, all actors, dancers, extras, and crew members MUST have legal eligibility to work in the entertainment industry in Pittsburgh. Details below.
This series is based the novel “Mind Hunter: Inside FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit” written by Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas. Set in 1979, the show centers on the inquisitive and skilled FBI Agent Bill Tench. Along with fellow serial killer investigator in the behavioral science unit, FBI agent Holden Ford, Tench interviews serial killers to help them solve current murders.
Starring in “Mindhunter” is Holt McCallany as Bill Tench, and Jonathan Groff as Holden Ford. Also starring is Cotter Smith as Shepard, Unit Chief of FBI National Training Academy; and Anna Torv as Wendy, a psychologist. “Mindhunter” is executive produced by Academy Award winner Charlize Theron and two-time Academy Award nominee David Fincher. Also executive producing is Jennifer Orme Erwin, who acquired the television rights to the novel. “Mindhunter” will air on Netflix in 2017.

The Netflix television series “Mindhunter” is currently casting extras and featured roles. There is no experience necessary to be considered, however you must be located within a few hours of Pittsburgh, PA. These are fully paid positions. Adults, teens, and children of any ethnicity are welcome to register. Shooting will be taking place through December, 2016.

• Especially need people with long, full hair, sideburns, afros, etc.
• Especially needed are also vehicles from the 1970’s and older. Please create a “vehicle profile” with photos when registering if you have a car, truck, or motorcycle from this era.

You photos should be color, recent, and only you in the photos. No hats or sunglasses, against a plain light colored wall. Must be well lit and clear, in focus. There is a photo cropping tool on the website database, please use it.
There will be an upcoming open casting call scheduled in the Pittsburgh area, but you will still need to register online, and it is highly recommended that you register ASAP, as casting is taking place now.
