Uptown Productions has been given a full 20 episode season order by Nickelodeon Network for the new comedy series “The Haunted Hathaways”. Shooting will begin soon in Los Angeles and the principal actor casting directors will be auditioning actors throughout the season for recurring, guest-starring, and under-five roles. The extras will also be cast all season long, which will run into Summer, 2013. The pilot episode was shot in October, 2012.

“The Haunted Hathaways” centers on a single mother named Michelle Hathaway and her two daughters Taylor and Frankie, ages 12 and 8 respectively. After Michelle goes through a divorce, she moves her family from New York City to New Orleans and opens a bakery, only to discover a family of three already living in the house that they move into. Single father Ray Preston and his two sons Miles and Louie, ages 13 and 9 respectively, are very proud of this home because it is where the boys were born and where they have spent their entire lives and afterlives! Yes, the Prestons are ghosts, and together with the Hathaways become The Brady Bunch with a supernatural twist.

Starring in “The Haunted Hathaways” is Broadway veteran actress Ginifer King as Michelle Hathaway; Amber Montana plays the role of Taylor Hathaway; newcomer Breanna Yde has been cast as Frankie Hathaway; three-time Image Awards nominee Chico Benymon plays the ghost father Ray Preston; the up-and-coming Curtis Harris portrays Miles Preston; and newcomer Benjamin Flores Jr. plays Louie Preston. Also cast in the series is “The Voice” contestant Kim Yarbrough playing the role of Madame Labuef, a mystical and spiritual woman who makes a living by exorcising unwanted ghosts.

Boyce Bugliari and Jamie McLaughlin are the executive producers and showrunners of “The Haunted Hathaways”. The duo held the same titles on the Nickelodeon series “Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures”. Robert Peacock is the series creator/writer/producer. Uptown Productions is the production company behind “The Haunted Hathaways”. Uptown is a subsidiary of Nickelodeon and produces television shows for the network. Lee Ann Larsen is the CEO and President of Uptown, which is headquartered in New York City with production offices in Los Angeles.
