Discovery Channel’s upcoming FBI crime-drama series “Manifesto”, from Lionsgate Television and Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti’s Trigger Street Productions, is casting extras and photo doubles to work throughout production in Atlanta, GA. TV show crew members can also submit resumes to the production office listed below under the section “Crew Members”. Shooting will run from January 30, 2017 through June, 2017. The specific current roles being cast are posted below.
“Manifesto” will center on Ted Kaczynski, also known as the “Unabomber”, who terrified the nation over the span of 20 years from the 1980s through the early 1990s. The series will tell the story of how the FBI brought down one of the most infamous criminal masterminds in the world from the point of view of an FBI profiler. The series will trace how FBI Agent Jim “Fitz” Fitzgerald challenged the “old school” ways with his radical new approach to intelligence gathering. Prior to Fitzgerald’s involvement, the profile of the perpetrator took a completely different direction. Fitzgerald had training as a profiler, but it was his focus on linguistics that became vital to breaking the case. He believed that the key to unlocking the true identity of the Unabomber would be found in the language of The Manifesto, a detailed account of some of Kaczynski’s plots.
Starring in “Manifesto” is BAFTA Film Award nominee Paul Bettany as Ted “Unabomber” Kaczynski, Saturn Awards winner Sam Worthington as FBI Agent Jim “Fitz” Fitzgerald, and Golden Globe Award winner Jane Lynch as U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno. Additional key cast members include Academy Award nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes, two-time Golden Globe Award nominee Chris Noth, Teen Choice Awards nominee Lynn Collins and Jeremy Bobb. Two-time Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey is producing “Manifesto” along with his Trigger Street Productions CEO Dana Brunetti. Primetime Emmy Award winner Greg Yaitanes will serve as showrunner, and will direct all episodes.
