ABC and Gross Entertainment have begun pre-production on a TV pilot titled ‘Body of Evidence’ to be shot throughout the state of Rhode Island beginning in March, 2010. Casting for the lead roles is taking place in LA and NY, smaller roles and extras will be cast in Rhode Island.
Body of Evidence tells the story of a top neurosurgeon who becomes a medical examiner after a car accident leaves her incapable of operating. It is a procedural drama that centers on a brilliant and tenacious female Medical Examiner, Megan Hunt. Her background as a neurosurgeon gives her a unique and refreshing crime-solving perspective, one that often puts her at odds with just about everyone who crosses her path.
